Our mission guides the CoServ organization every day. We have come a long way since we were founded in 1937 as Denton County Electric Cooperative - from a small company providing electricity to rural homes and communities to a full-service electric and gas provider, meeting the needs of urban and suburban members and customers as well. Despite the extensive growth in our region, we remain committed to serving our members and customers, and to energizing life in the community.

As the second largest electric cooperative in Texas, CoServ Electric provides services to more than 100,000 residential, commercial and industrial members in parts of Denton, Collin, Tarrant, Wise, Cooke and Grayson counties. CoServ Gas, established in 1998, is proud to provide natural gas services to more than 40,000 residential and commercial customers in North Texas.
